Within the Department of Asset Management of the Environment and Development Services Directorate of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council there are two units that work together to provide building construction expertise and delivery to all areas of the council, their partners and external clients. These units are:

  • RCP - Design Consultancy and
  • RCP - Projects & Partnerships

Both these units operate the council’s strategic building construction partnership, under the brand of “Rotherham Construction Partnership" (RCP). This brand covers both these units, 5 external consultants and 10 external contractor partners.

Staff levels are maintained at a minimum to handle base work loads and strategic partner consultants are used to handle the peaks in work load.
